Today my thoughts are extraterrestrial. How small one feels when one thinks of the vastness of space. It makes you wonder about humanity. And how projects like this, in a small way, brings humanity together for a single purpose, and this time in the name of science.

One man's quest to keep seniors fit;
Leo Fong, 75, is a retired United Methodist minister, a 10th-degree black belt in martial arts and the founder of the mind-body martial-arts fitness program Chi-Fung, which he teaches to seniors in Tarzana, Chatsworth and Pacoima.
